Care Manager/LCSW

Amergis Healthcare hiring for a full time LCSW/Care Manager to help support a health insurance agency in Orange, California!

The Care Manager is responsible for the oversight and reviewof Behavioral Health Treatment (BHT) including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)services offered to eligible members. The incumbent willscreen, triage and assess members to determine the appropriate level of carebased on medical necessity criteria. The incumbent will review and processrequests for authorization of BHT services from behavioral health providers.The incumbent is responsible for utilization management, quality reviews andmonitoring activities of BHT services. The incumbent will directly interactwith providers for care coordination for BHT/ABA services.

Position Details:

Location: Orange, CA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Setting: Health Insurance Agency

Pay: $50 – $55/hour dependent on experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior authorization/utilization reviewexperience.
• Managed care experience.
• Post degree ABA experience.
• Quality assurance experience.

Experience and Education: 

·      Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counselingor related field required PLUS 4 years of experience providing ABA and ormental health services, including experience in clinical review and treatmentplan oversight; an equivalent combination of education and experiencesufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such asthose listed above is also qualifying.

·      Current CA unrestricted license such as LCSW,LPCC, LMFT, RN (with BH experience), Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)or Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D).
