Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Grades 4-6)

Location: Fall River, MA

Duration: 2024-25 SY 

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with students, parents, and other educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Required)
• State Certification in Special Education (Preferred) 
• Strong communication and organizational skills. (Required) 
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred. (Required)
