Special Education Teacher – Elementary Life Skills

Local Pay Rate: $42
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 22, 2026
Hours: 7:55 AM – 3:55 PM
Interview Format: In-person or Virtual
Timekeeping System: MTC

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacherto lead an Elementary Life Skills classroom. This role focuses onproviding specialized instruction and support for students with diverselearning needs in a structured and collaborative environment.

Caseload Details

  • 22 students
  • Classroom Support: 3 paraprofessionals available

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals
  • Manage classroom routines and ensure compliance with district standards
  • Collaborate with paras and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

Qualifications

  • Valid Special Education Certification (required)
  • Experience in life skills or self-contained settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Additional Details

  • District-specific onboarding: Fingerprinting through district required
  • In-person only (no hybrid option)
