School Psychologist (LSSP) | Austin, TX | $50–$58/hr | Full-Time | 37-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking one Licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) to provide comprehensive psychological services to K–12 students in Austin-area schools. This full-time role begins December 1, 2025 and runs through May 28, 2026.

Position Overview

• Location: Austin, TX (specific campus TBD)

• Start Date: December 1, 2025

• End Date: May 28, 2026

• Duration: 37 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm | 37 hrs/week

• Modality: Campus-based (guaranteed 1 remote day per week)

• Openings: 1 position available

• Pay Rate: $50–$58/hr

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility across multiple disability categories (excluding visual, hearing, and speech impairments)

• Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Provide direct counseling services to students with emotional or behavioral challenges

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

• Support students and staff during crises, including mental health emergencies or behavioral escalations

• Offer professional development to staff on mental health, behavior management, and social-emotional learning

• Collect and monitor student data to inform decision-making

Requirements

• Current State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (LSSP) in Texas

• Master’s degree in psychology (preferred)

• Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred

• Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Minimum age: 18
