Modality: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Through January (high likelihood of extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 37.5 per week (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Local Pay Rate: $70/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support and staff training in a functional life skills classroom. This role focuses on guiding staff in managing challenging behaviors and ensuring a safe, structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train classroom staff on effective behavior management strategies.
  • Support a caseload of 4 students (including 1 student in 6th grade with high behavioral needs).
  • Address aggressive behaviors such as hitting, kicking, biting, and elopement.
  • Collaborate with school teams to implement individualized behavior plans.
  • No supervision of RBTs required.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification.
  • Experience working with students exhibiting severe behaviors.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and train staff effectively.
