The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician’s orders.

Job Description: As a School Speech-LanguagePathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treatingstudents with communication disabilities. You will collaborate with educators,administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized educationplans (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments in compliance with district policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual communicative needs of students.
- Participate in IEP meetings to present assessment results and progress reports.
- Provide continuous evaluation of students’ progress toward IEP goals.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and address speech and language needs.
- Plan and organize services at assigned school sites.
- Conduct professional development training for school staff and parents on speech and language pathology issues.
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited college or university.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program.
- Current CPR certification, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
