Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) – Young Adult Male Correctional Facility

Location: Aberdeen, WA

Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 1:00 PM–11:00 PM

Facility Overview:

This small correctional facility is operated by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). It houses up to 46 young adult males who have been identified as emerging young leaders. The facility emphasizes rehabilitation, leadership development, and structured support.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) to join our healthcare team. This role supports the health and wellness of youth residents in a secure, rehabilitative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication administration
• Support the medical provider in the primary care clinic
• Respond to medical emergencies within the facility
• Maintain and manage medical supply orders

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a clinical Medical Assistant
