Special Education Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher tosupport students in grades 4–8 in a resource setting. The ideal candidate willbe skilled in delivering Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) andmanaging a diverse caseload of middle school students.

Caseload Overview:

• Total Students: 26
• LRE Breakdown:
• 1 student – LRE C (virtual gen ed participation, remains in SPED resource room)
• 1 student – LRE B (requires significant academic support)
• Remaining students – LRE A

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Manage IEP case files and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Maxview timekeeping system

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
• Arizona Department of Education SPED Teaching Certification
• Note: No alternative certifications or substitute certificates will be accepted
