We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our school clinic team in Hillsborough County. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ health and well-being.
Location: Hillsborough County Schools
Pay: $28/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 36.5 hours per week
Benefits: Weekly Pay, Health, Vision, Dental, 401(k)
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency health care to students during school hours
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication logs
- Perform basic health assessments and monitor chronic conditions
- Respond promptly to injuries and illnesses, following school health protocols
- Document all health-related visits and maintain confidential student records
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
- Support health education initiatives and promote wellness within the school community
- Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in Florida
- Current BLS Certification
- Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
- One year prior Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
