Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to support students and staff in a dynamic educational environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and one-on-one support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL
• Support students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet individual student needs

Qualifications:

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus
