Amergis Staffing iscurrently working with a much-respected facility in Boston, MA  and is hiring experienced Mammography Technologistson a contractual basis!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 26 weeks (13 weeks will be considered)

Start Date: 11/10

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (4×10’s or 5×8’s) / Mon-Thurs (7a-5:30p) or Mon-Fri (7:30a-4p)

 

 

Setting:

  • Outpatient

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of Mammography Tech experience preferred
  • 2D and 3D experience + diagnostic and screening experience
  • Hologic experience
  • MA radiation control license or ability to obtain one upon offer
  • ARRT (M), BLS

     

    TheMammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associatedwith the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images ofthe breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve thechances of successful treatment and survival. 

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working
    • One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.
    • Current CPR if applicable
    • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
    • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
    • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
