Position Summary
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support early childhood students (ages 3–4) in Kenosha, WI. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the teacher will deliver specialized instruction, collaborate with general education staff, and participate in planning and implementation of individualized programs.

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Duration: Through the 2025–26 school year

Pay: $45 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
-
Provide specialized instruction and tutorial support to early childhood special education students
-
Collaborate with the Special Education Program Administrator, Student Services, and general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and team planning
-
Implement behavior supports and differentiated instructional strategies appropriate for young learners
-
Comply with district, state, and federal regulations and professional standards
Qualifications
-
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/district regulations or ability to obtain required licensure (1809 DPI license if not already held)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred

Endorsement or experience with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) or standard special education certification preferred

Compliance with CPR, TB/PPD, and health certificate requirements where applicable

Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
