Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontamination, assembly of linen packs, operation of steam, ETO and other forms of sterilization. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains adequate inventory for assembly of instruments and equipment and performs multiple tasks that assist in the daily operation of all units as well as being responsible for customer service.

Minimum Requirements: 

*We do Ortho, General, Endo, ENT, Cataracts, and more

3-4 cases per day 

NO OB, NO Neuro, and NO Cardiac

Ideally looking for a candidate that has 5 years of Ortho Experience. They will be doing a lot of Ortho 

MUST BE SPT certified 

Must be comfortable with Sterile Processing Tech duties – might cover/float if not working as a surgical tech 

Shift: 

Day shift

–          – 4×8 schedule – 32 hours/week 

–          –  7am – 3:30pm

–          – On-call – Rotation for on call during nights/weekends – Call starts at 3:30pm-6;30am. Weekend call is Friday at 3:30pm – Monday 6:30am.

–           – On call rate – $2.75/hr

–           – On call Frequency: 1 night per week and every 4th weekend. If called in during on-call will be paid at 1.5x
