The Director of Workforce Solutions is responsible for forming strategic relationships between our customers, product development, and implementation teams. The Director of Workforce Solutions will drive feature development and adoption, enhance customer satisfaction, and shape the future of our MatterWorx Vendor Management System (VMS) platform. The Director of Workforce Solutions role, demands a blend of product expertise, customer-facing finesse, and operational leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the VMS/MSP SaaS industry, starting new business lines, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product & Feature Strategy
  • Gathers, analyzes, and documents detailed requirements for new features and enhancements across the VMS platform
  • Maintains and refines a prioritized product backlog in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
  • Leads grooming sessions to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business goals
Customer Engagement & Success
  • Supports customer implementations by translating business needs into platform configurations and workflows
  • Leads quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key clients to assess performance, identifies opportunities, and strengthens partnerships
  • Conducts system demonstrations for prospective and existing clients to showcase platform capabilities
Adoption & Enablement
  • Drives internal and external adoption of platform features and functions through training, documentation, and strategic communication
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to promote feature utilization and value realization
  • Serves and supports the MSP Team in business development and VMS subject matter expertise
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in workforce solutions, staffing technology, or vendor management systems as well as 5+ years of management experience
  • Deep understanding of contingent labor workflows in healthcare and education settings as well as SaaS platforms and technologies. Understanding of cloud computing, software development and IT infrastructure
  • Proven success in leading product initiatives and customer-facing engagements
  • Strong leadership and management skills, customer focus, analytical and problem solving, communication, and presentation skills and a proven ability to drive operational excellence; proficiency in the English language is required
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools
