Mobile Crisis Clinician – Community-Based Crisis Response (988 Calls)

We’re hiring Mobile Crisis Clinician to join the Community Wellness and Response Team (CWRT) in Rancho Cordova. This program provides urgent, in-field mental health crisis response in partnership with 988 and Sacramento County—offering compassionate alternatives to emergency services.

 Key Responsibilities

·        Respond to 988-referred mental health crises (avg. 4–5 calls/day)

·        Work in teams of 3 social workers per shift

·        On-site, field-based support with vehicle provided

·        This innovative program works collaboratively with 988 and Sacramento County to provide urgent response for community members experiencing a mental health crisis to reduce the need for emergency services and provide community-based resources.

·        Eligible for clinical supervision

Shifts Available

• Day: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Swing: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
• NOC: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 12:00 AM–8:30 AM
• NOC: Fri–Tue or Thu–Mon | 12:00 AM–8:30 AM

Requirements

• ACSW or AMFT (BBS-registered)
• Master’s in Social Work, MFT, or Clinical Counseling
• 2+ years of social service experience
• Valid CA driver’s license (no personal vehicle required)

• $50/hour
• Duration: on-going
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Vehicle provided for field response
• Virtual interviews end of next week
• Supervision available for licensure

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with themulti-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of carefor those patients/clients requiring social work intervention.  The Licensed Clinical Social Worker providescounseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social oremotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social workaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
• Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
