Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in St. Louis, Missouri for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 7 months.

Position Overview:

• Location: St. Louis, MO

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• Duration: 7 months

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Hours/Week: 37.5

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $42/hour

• Classroom Type: Elementary, push-in/pull-out model

• Caseload: 10–15 students

• Support: Para support provided

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support

• Write and implement IEPs

• Address behavioral needs

• Collaborate with general education staff

• Deliver group and 1:1 support

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Missouri teaching certificate with SPED endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
