What You’ll Do

• Administer psychotropic medications and monitor for side effects as prescribed by the team psychiatrist.
• Conduct nursing assessments and provide interventions for medical and psychiatric needs.
• Collaborate with the psychiatrist to manage medication protocols and ensure safe practices.
• Track medication effectiveness and develop strategies to promote adherence.
• Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention services on a rotating schedule.
• Document all care and interactions using Welligent EMR.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric RN experience required.
• Prior experience in behavioral health, case management, or community nursing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort working in community settings.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Pay:
  • Local: $45/hr
  • Travelers: $21/hr + $1,365/week in stipends
  • Mileage: $0.62/mile for travel between patient visits
