Now Hiring: LCSW or LMFT – School-Based Mental Health Provider | Lakeside, CA
Start Date: ASAP – June 30, 2026
Location: Lakeside, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Contract Length: 36 weeks
Hours: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)
Position Overview:
Lakeside Union School District is seeking a compassionate and credentialed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide school-based mental health services to K–8 students. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting a caseload of approximately 25 students across multiple school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners
- Support students’ social-emotional development and behavioral needs
- Travel between school sites as needed
Requirements:
- Active California LCSW or LMFT license
- Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- School-based experience preferred
- Must be comfortable floating between sites
Compensation:
- Local Pay Rate: $75-$80/hour
- Travel Weekly Pay: $2,800 (adjustable based on need)
