Job Title: Behavior Technician – School Setting

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $20 – $25 based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday (during school hours); flexible shifts available

About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs? Join our team as a Behavior Technician working in a supportive school environment. You’ll collaborate with educators and behavioral specialists to implement evidence-based interventions that help students achieve their learning and behavioral goals.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals with experience in home, clinic, or school settings as a Behavior Technician or Behavioral Interventionist, especially those trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings
  • Implement ABA-based behavior intervention plans under supervision
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and academic skills
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • At least 2 years of pediatric experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with children in home, clinic, or school settings
  • ABA training or certification (preferred but not required)
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
