Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: North County San Diego, CA
Compensation: Up to $85/hour
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM – highly flexible

We are currently hiring a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver specialized behavioral health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This position includes conducting evaluations, crafting intervention strategies, and managing therapeutic programs across diverse environments.

Primary Duties:

  • Provide consistent supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring adherence to behavioral intervention protocols

  • Perform thorough Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) to identify and understand behavioral concerns

  • Observe clients in multiple settings to create individualized Behavior Support Plans

  • Apply principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to encourage constructive behavioral outcomes

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals

  • Educate and support staff in implementing best practices in behavioral health

Required Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related discipline

  • At least two years of experience supporting individuals with IDD and mental health challenges

  • Proven experience in supervising RBTs

  • CPR certification (if applicable)

  • Full compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
