Occupational Therapist Assistant - School

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, theCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy servicesincluding treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, anddocumentation to students in the school setting.

Looking for a COTA to work about 21 hours/week. Schedule is flexible. Students range from preschool to post grad. COTA would float across 4 schools but these schools are located in the same complex.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
