Clinical Supervisor – Licensed Addiction Counselor (SUDP)
Location: Kent, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Full-Time | Permanent Position
Salary: Starting at $77,968.80 and up based on experience and education

Position Overview
Amergis Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to serve as Clinical Supervisor. This leadership role oversees a team of seven counselors and works closely with the Clinic Director to ensure high-quality care and operational consistency in an outpatient opioid treatment setting.
We’re looking for a confident, experienced leader who can bring stability and structure to a team that has experienced recent turnover. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for supporting individuals in recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of 7 SUDP counselors
- Provide individual and group therapy, behavioral health assessments, and crisis intervention
- Develop and review individualized treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with WAC, CARF, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other regulatory standards
- Conduct chart audits and monitor documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with Clinic and Regional Directors to maintain program quality
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of clinical staff
- Serve as a liaison within the community and support multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
- Active Washington State SUDP license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (3+ years preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience as a practicing SUDP
- Familiarity with WAC and behavioral health guidelines
- Experience in addiction recovery or MAT (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone) environments preferred
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Leadership in outpatient, residential, or correctional behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, MI, relapse prevention)
- Strong documentation and audit-readiness skills
- Ability to foster collaboration across medical, case management, and peer support teams
