Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a middle school behavioral classroom in Rio Rancho, New Mexico for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 15, 2025, and runs through May 29, 2026, offering $42–$47/hour, based on experience and licensure.

Position Overview:

• Location: Rio Rancho, NM

• Start Date: October 15, 2025

• End Date: May 29, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Hours: 37.5/week

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $42–$47/hour

Classroom Details:

• Middle school behavioral/social communication setting

• Candidates must be comfortable managing challenging behaviors

• Classroom support available (paras, behavior techs, nurses)

• Responsibilities include teaching and case management

• Caseload details provided during interview

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid New Mexico teaching certificate with SPED endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
