The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgical equipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices are functioning properly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement
  • One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only) 
  • Degree in biology related field which includes a degree / certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age  

Job Title: Cardiac Surgical Technologist – Stanford, CA
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Start Dates: 10/27 or 11/9
Duration: 26 Weeks (with possible extensions)
Shift: Rotating
Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $3,101/week

  • Hourly: $1,113
  • Stipends: $1,988

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Cardiac Surgical Technologists for a prestigious Level 1 academic medical center in Stanford, CA. This is a high-impact role supporting complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries in a world-renowned facility.

Requirements:

  • Active CA RN License
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 5 years of Surgical Tech experience
  • At least 3 years scrubbing complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
  • Experience in a Level 1 academic medical center
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
