$42 – $45 / hour
Amergis Educational Staffing is actively hiring a Sign Language Interpreter in Mount Airy, NC!
Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 2025 – 26 School Year, potential to extend
- 4th grade student
- 1:1 services
- Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs/week
- Weekly pay!
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in interpreting or a related field and must meet 20 hours of professional learning related to interpreting/transliterating annually
- Must have one of the 2 license/tests:
- National Interpreter Certification (NIC) through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
- Educational Interpreting Proficiency Assessment (EIPA) with a score of 3.5 or higher
- Experience working in an educational setting preferred
