Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking to hire Behavior Technicians for the 2025-2026 school year.

Location: Hoke County and greater area

Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and dependable Behavior Technicians to support one-to-one, early intervention, mainstream inclusion, adaptive living skills, push-in or pull-out services, and/or any unique special education program within school settings.

BTs works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objective.

As part of our hiring process, candidates will complete an orientation to learn more about assessing, responding to, maintaining safety, and resolving and reporting crisis behvaior.

Key Responsibilities:

Amergis BTs assist with facilitating teacher led instruction, review and implement BIPs, perform ABA related teaching strategies, implement positive reinforcement systems, Amergisize safety during crisis behavior, support implantation of IEP goals, and support transitions and alternative environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent required

-Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

-Current CPR

-Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

-Must be at least 18 years of age

-Must have reliable transportation
