Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support K–8 students in a resource setting in Surprise, Arizona. This full-time, in-person role begins October 6, 2025, and runs for 7 months, with specific grade levels to be discussed during the interview.

Position Overview:

• Location: Surprise, AZ

• Start Date: October 6, 2025

• Duration: 7 months

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 40/week

• Modality: In-person

• Pay Rate: $48–$52/hour

Classroom Details:

• Grade Levels: K–8

• Setting: Resource

• Caseload: To be determined

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education and support staff

• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Certification

• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
