Special Education Teacher | $54/hr Local or $2,288/week Travel | Full-Time | Colorado Springs, CO | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Special Education Teachers to support multiple school sites across Colorado for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, in-person role spans elementary and high school settings, with openings in both mild and severe classrooms. The contract begins ASAP and runs for 36 weeks, with 7 positions available.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Multiple school sites across Colorado

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Length: 36 weeks (2025–2026 SY)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Hours: 37.5/week

  • Modality: In-person

  • Pay Rate: $54/hour (local) or $2,288/week (travel)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students

  • Collaborate with general education and support staff

  • Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

  • One year of teaching experience (preferred)

  • CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
