Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a K–8 resource classroom in Chandler, AZ for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, in-person role begins October 13, 2025, and runs for 9 months, offering a competitive rate of $48–$52/hour.

Position Overview:

• Location: Chandler, AZ

• Start Date: October 13, 2025

• Duration: 9 months

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 40/week

• Modality: In-person

• Interview: Two rounds (ESS coordinator, then school admin)

Classroom Details:

• Grade Level: K–8

• Setting: Resource classroom

• Specific grade levels discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for K–8 students

• Collaborate with general education staff and participate in student program planning

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consult with support staff

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Arizona teaching certificate (ADE Cert required)

• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
