RN Endoscopy

Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Endoscopy (Endo) assignments in Hazel Crest, IL!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 10/20

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days(8a-4:30p) / Mon-Fri + Every other Sat

On-Call: Varies by unit

Setting:

• GI services
• Patient types: Endoscopy, Minor OP procedures, Pre/Post

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Pulmonary & Endo Circulating RN experience
• Preferred: Ability to tech pulmonary and GI cases, Advanced interventional GI experience (ERCP/EUS), Pre/Post op experience
• Active IL RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA)

TheEndoscopy RN will be responsible for planning and administering care of thepatient undergoing diagnostic Endoscopy procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• One (1) year experience in a GI/Endo lab within the last three years preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
