Caseload: Approximately 30–35 students

Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders. This temporary virtual role supports students with severe disabilities and requires strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy services virtually
• Conduct evaluations and write IEPs
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Document session notes and maintain accurate records
• Collect data for progress monitoring and updates
• Support students with severe disabilities in achieving communication goals

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in Delaware
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract/state)
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
