School Psychologist | $65/hr | Full-Time | 33-Week Contract | Denton, TX Area

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to support middle and either high school or elementary campuses in the Denton, TX area. This full-time, in-person role begins ASAP and runs through May 15, 2026, offering a competitive rate of $65/hour.

Position Overview:

• Location: West side of Denton (Justin/Argyle area)

• Start Date: September 28, 2025

• End Date: May 15, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5/week)

• Modality: In-person

• Interview: 1-day hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct re-evaluations (if assigned to middle and high school)

• Provide psychological services and assessments

• Collaborate with school teams to support student mental health and development

• Participate in IEP meetings and intervention planning

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Texas licensure/certification as a School Psychologist

• Master’s degree in psychology (preferred)

• Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
