Location: Burbank, Newhall CA

Pay Range: $19–$26/hour (DOE)

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? Amergis Healthcare is seeking dedicated Behavioral Aides to work in school settings across Burbank. You’ll provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioral and academic needs, collaborating closely with educators and therapists to foster success and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA strategies
• Support students with academic and behavioral goals
• Assist with speech, occupational, and physical therapy activities
• Provide crisis intervention and behavior management
• Help students develop daily living and self-care skills
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of pediatric or classroom experience (preferred)
• CPR certification and health screening (as required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for helping children thrive
