Join our dedicated team as an Instructional Aide / Paraeducator and be a vital part of creating inclusive, supportive, and empowering educational environments.

Position Overview:

As an Instructional Aide, you’ll work closely with students who require instructional and/or behavioral support under the guidance of the Special Education Department, classroom teachers, and other supervising staff. You’ll also assist students with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by licensed professionals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special behavioral needs
  • Assist with classroom activities, behavior management, and academic instruction
  • Support students with restroom assistance, mobility, personal care, and therapeutic routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure student success

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CPR certification 
  • TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray 
  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Commitment to professional standards of practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with special education students
  • Willingness to work with students of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
  • Passion for inclusive education and student empowerment
