Amergis Staffing is currently looking for qualified and experience correctional nurses (RN) for a correctional facility in Raleigh, NC. The details for this position are below:
Position Description:
The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.
Schedule:
- Day Shift – 5:45p-6:15a, 36/48 rotation
- Every Other Weekend
Requirements:
- Must have corrections experience, NCDAC preferred
- Must be a licensed registered nurse for a minimum of 1 year
- Must be comfortable working in a correction/prison setting
- Must have current TB and BLS
