Corrections RN – Coralville, IA | 13-Week Assignment

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Corrections assignment in Coralville, IA. This is a great opportunity to work in a secure facility while providing essential care to an underserved population.

?? Assignment Details:

• Location: Coralville, IA

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Hours: 40 hours/week

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

?? Compensation:

• Local Candidates (within 50 miles of facility): $58/hour

• Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $2,606/weekProof of residency required for travel rate

? Requirements:

• Active RN license

• Corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population.  This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
