Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Estimated Start Date: August 13, 2025
Estimated End Date: May 22, 2026
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Travel Rate Available for Qualified Candidates
Duration: 39 Weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Are you passionate about supporting students’ mental health and academic success? We’re seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and make a meaningful impact across both elementary and secondary grade levels.
About the Role:
As a School Psychologist, you’ll play a vital role in evaluating students for eligibility for special education services and supporting their developmental and emotional needs. This position focuses on initial evaluations only—no counseling required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Assess students for eligibility under categories such as Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Intellectual Disability (ID), and Other Health Impairment (OHI)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
Caseload:
- Approximately 80–100 students
- No classroom support or group/1:1 therapy required
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Health certificate (as required by contract or state)
