School Aide

Location: Santa Maria, CA Pay Rate: $18/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, up to 32.5 hours/week Start Date: August 2025

?? Position Summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support classrooms across Santa Maria schools for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students succeed in a structured, inclusive learning environment.

?? Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and supervision

• Support students with academic and behavioral needs

• Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans

• Monitor students during transitions, lunch, and recess

• Escort students and assist with mobility or personal care (if needed)

?? Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience working with children preferred

• CPR and TB clearance may be required

• Must be at least 18 years old
