KeyResponsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to incarcerated individuals
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, correctional officers, and facility staff
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and manage chronic and acute conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare and facility protocols
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in crisis intervention
• Educate patients on health maintenance and wellness

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a correctional setting is required
• Current and active BLS certification
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Willing to work weekends
