The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand/or client requirement
- One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist – only)
- Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Location: Sacramento, CA
Start Date: October 6, 2025
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 5×8-Hour (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM)
Mid Shift: 5×8-Hour (02:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Block scheduling not available.
Requirements:
- NBSTA Certification
- CST Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience
- On-call availability: ~4–5 days/month (including weekends)
- Willingness to float to HOPD/ASC (same campus)
- Orientation: 16 hours

- Float Required: Yes
- Occasional float to HOPD/ASC on the same campus
- Call Required: Yes
- Approximately 4–5 days/month, including weekends
- Weekend Coverage: On-call only
- 2–3 weekend on-call shifts per contract
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 50–60 procedures
