NP/PA – Urgent Care| PRN
Coverage across 10 locations in Greater Richmond, VA Pediatric & Adult UC | Flexible Scheduling | High-Volume Sites
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Flexible
- Schedule: PRN
- Contract Type: Locums | W2
- Multiple sites around Richmond
Clinical Scope
- Full-spectrum urgent care for patients ages 3 months and up
- Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult populations
- Procedures may include:
- Suturing, I&D, splinting
- EKG interpretation
- Acute illness and injury management
Requirements
- NP: Board Certified (FNP only) via ANCC or AANP
- PA: Board Certified via NCCPA
- Licensure: Active Virginia license
- Certifications: BLS & DEA required
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–6 years in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Must be recent (within last 2 years)
- Must include experience with pediatric patients (3 months+)
