Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Brockton, MA who is currently seeking a School Psychologist Diagnostician to work with students on a contractual basis.
Details of the Position Include:
- Pay Rate: $75/hour (based on experience)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 2025-26 SY
- Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time; on-site presence required only for direct assessments. All other responsibilities may be completed remotely.
- Requirements: Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations for preschool-aged children; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; strong communication and documentation skills.
- Description:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for preschool-aged children referred for special education eligibility
- Collaborate with related service professionals (SLPs, OTs, PTs)
- Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility determinations and IEP development
- Participate in team meetings and complete documentation in a timely, professional manner
- Perform non-assessment tasks remotely (e.g., report writing, data entry, communication)

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
- Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
- Master’s degree in psychology preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
