School Psychologist

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Brockton, MA who is currently seeking a School Psychologist Diagnostician to work with students on a contractual basis.

Details of the Position Include:

• Pay Rate: $75/hour (based on experience)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 2025-26 SY
• Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time; on-site presence required only for direct assessments. All other responsibilities may be completed remotely.
• Requirements: Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations for preschool-aged children; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Description:
• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for preschool-aged children referred for special education eligibility
• Collaborate with related service professionals (SLPs, OTs, PTs)
• Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility determinations and IEP development
• Participate in team meetings and complete documentation in a timely, professional manner
• Perform non-assessment tasks remotely (e.g., report writing, data entry, communication)

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services.  The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment 
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred 
• Master’s degree in psychology preferred 
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
