School Aide

CVUSD is seeking compassionate and dedicated School Aides to support students with instructional, behavioral, and personal care needs. This role is essential in helping students thrive academically and socially, working under the supervision of special education staff and classroom teachers.

?? Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students (K–12), either 1:1 or in small groups

• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and engagement

• Support students with mobility, hygiene, and therapeutic care needs as directed by licensed professionals

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to meet student goals

?? Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)

• Current health certificate (as required by state or contract)

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment standards

?? Pay Range: $18–$21 per hour
?? Schedule: Monday–Friday, during school hours
?? Location: Various CVUSD campuses
