- Facilitates the training process for nursing School Based Professionals (SBP)
- Provides documentation support and review as required by contract and provides re-education when necessary
- Develops caregivers and conducts performance evaluations when required by Amergis, contract, and/or accrediting bodies
- Supports caregivers while on assignment and acts as a resource when needed
- Participates in clinical quality initiatives as directed by RN School Support Manager or NDCO
- Assists manager with Investigations and grievances related to caregiver and field concerns, as applicable
- Provides coverage of cases when critical staffing is needed at RN SSM and NDCO discretion
- Provides on-call support on rotation for clinical questions and office support as needed
- Assists School nurse to utilize the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate student’s care needs
- Active RN licensure in state where practicing; may be required to gain additional licensure to support business needs
- National Certified School Nurse Certification, preferred
- One year of school nurse or pediatric nursing experience, preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Participation and completion of company’s Competency program when applicable
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
- Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
- Computer proficiency required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
