NP/PA – Urgent Care| Locum Tenens
Torrington, CT 06790 High-VolumeUC | All-Ages | Epic EMR
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Mix of weekdays/weekends
Clinical Scope
Outpatient urgent care: cold/flu, lacerations, sprains, minor infections
Must be comfortable seeing pediatrics through geriatrics
EMR: Epic
Procedures:
- Suturing, wound care, I&D
- Splinting
- Reading X-rays/EKGs
- Drawing blood
- Working independently
Requirements
Active Connecticut NP or PA license
DEA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
Experience:
- Must have recent (within 2 years) experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
Pay: discussed by phone. Paid weekly. 100% malpractice covered
