Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time contract positions at a respected retirement community in Needham, MA.

Facility Overview

This 59-acre retirement campus offers a continuum of care including Independent Living, Enhanced Living, and Skilled Nursing. Residents enjoy access to amenities such as a fitness center, art gallery, and gourmet dining, fostering an active and engaged lifestyle. The community emphasizes lifelong learning, social connection, and comprehensive support.

Position Details

• Role: LPN
• Start Date: ASAP (bi-weekly orientation)
• Duration: 13 weeks to start
• Conversion Option: Eligible for permanent placement after 6 months
• Pay Rates:
  • RN: $45-$48/hr (dependent on experience)
  • New grads welcome
  • Local candidates only

Schedule Options

• Shifts Available:
  • 2 positions: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 2 positions: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 32–40 hours/week
• Flexibility:
  • Choose between 4 or 5 days/week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Weekday flexibility discussed during interview

Care Setting

• Three units: Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, and Rehab
• Nurses assigned to households of 5–10 residents
• Most residents are self-sufficient and require minimal care
• Each household supported by 2 CNAs
• Some residents have private aides
• Low-stress environment

Requirements

• Active MA LPN
• MMRV documentation
• Physical exam
• TB test (blood test or 2 recent skin tests within past 12 months)
• BLS certification
• Flu shot (declinations not accepted)
