The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician’s orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
General Comments
Essential Job Details: |
1x Leave of Absence SLP needed for Lake Oswego School District, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. LOA is anticipated to end on November 7th, but contractor could be asked to extend if LOA candidate does not return. |
Technical Skills Needed/Minimum Experience/Qualifications |
Active OR SLP license Ability to work in person for the duration of the assignment Previous Schools SLP experience highly preferred Ability to manage a caseload of approx. 29 students |
