?? Responsibilities
All roles include:
- Delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction tailored to diverse learners
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Monitoring academic progress and adjusting instruction based on student needs
- Participating in professional development and school-wide initiatives
Literacy Coach additionallysupports:
- Curriculum planning and literacy strategy implementation
- Coaching and mentoring teachers in best practices for reading and writing instruction
- Facilitating data-driven interventions and literacy-focused PD sessions
DLI Teachers additionallysupport:
- Bilingual instruction aligned with dual language program goals
- Language development in both English and Spanish (or target language)
- Cross-cultural learning and family engagement
? Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license appropriate to grade level and subject
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred for Literacy Coach)
- Prior classroom experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual fluency required for DLI roles
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
