Special Education Teacher

Position Title: Special Education Teacher – Learning Disabilities
Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year

Position Overview:

Amergis Staffing is seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. These positions are focused on supporting students with learning disabilities in co-taught classroom settings across high school campuses. Teachers will work collaboratively with general education staff to deliver specialized instruction, provide tutorial support, and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized student programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality special education services to students in grades K–12.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom environments.
• Participate in team planning and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct instruction, consultation, and academic support tailored to student needs.

Qualifications:

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid teaching certification (Special Education, Elementary, or Secondary)
• Endorsement in Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
• At least one year of teaching experience in a special education setting

Details:

• 25/26 school year
• 37.5 hours a week
• Pay $48 an hour
