Special Education Teacher – 3rd–5th Grade Resource | Litchfield Park, AZ | 2025–26 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a 3rd–5th grade resource caseload at a Elementary School for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an in-person role starting August 18, 2025, with a 36-week contract.

Position Details:

• Location: Litchfield Park, AZ

• Start Date: August 18, 2025

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week

• Grade Levels: 3rd–5th

• Caseload Type: Resource

• Interview Format: Virtual

• Pay Rate: $52/hr

• Travel Package: Up to $2,300/week gross

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education staff to implement inclusive practices

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

Requirements:

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (SPED, Elementary, or Secondary)

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• 1+ year teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR certification (in-person required)

• TB clearance and health certificate (as required)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Minimum age: 18
